Editorial policy
Silver Community Press aims to make community decision-making easier to understand. We value clear explanations, careful distinctions and useful context over certainty or grand claims.
Accuracy and independence
We check factual statements against suitable material available to us and distinguish explanation from opinion. Articles should not present a general example as a rule for every group. Editorial decisions are made for readers, not to secure a partner's approval or promote a particular organization.
Corrections
If a published item contains an error or leaves a point misleadingly unclear, we review the issue and correct it where warranted. Readers can send the article title and a description of the concern through the Contact page. Substantive changes should be made clear to readers.
Partner material and illustrations
Paid, commissioned or otherwise partner-supported material is labelled so readers can distinguish it from independent editorial work. Partners do not determine our editorial conclusions. Some illustrations may be AI-generated; when relevant, they are identified, and they are not presented as documentary evidence.
Clear choices make shared work easier
When people understand how a decision is made and what happens next, participation becomes more meaningful. We explain the habits and tools that help groups work through choices together.
